Skur 38 - havnskuret som ble miljøforbilde

Skur 38 ble bygget som lager for Amerikabåtene, og sto ferdig i 1915. Nå er det tidligere havnskuret rehabilitert til moderne kontorlokaler for Oslo Havn KF. Skuret er et forbildeprosjekt når det gjelder miljø. Det er BREEAM-NOR Excellent sertifisert og utpekt som et forbildeprosjekt i FutureBuilt.

Oslo Havn ønsker velkommen til omvisninger i Skur 38 under Open House Oslo. Det inviteres også til korte foredrag om havnas betydning for byen og transformasjon av tidligere havnearealer til byutvikling.

Shed 38 – Harbor warehouse reborn as an environmental role model.
Shed 38 was built as a warehouse for the Norwegian America Line and was completed in 1915. Rehabilitated as modern office space for the Port of Oslo, the shed is transformed into a model of environmental efficiency. It has received a BREEAM-NOR Excellent certification and has been chosen as a model project by FutureBuilt.

The Port of Oslo welcomes you to guided tours of Shed 38, including short lectures on the port´s position in the city and the transformation and revitalization of the industrial waterfront to an active public space including a recreational park.
