Villa Stenersen (1937-39) er tegnet av arkitekt Arne Korsmo for finansmannen og kunstsamleren Rolf Stenersen, som bolig og ramme for hans store kunstsamling.

Huset regnes som et av hovedverkene innenfor norsk funksjonalisme. Villaen ble i sin tid testamentert til staten som bolig for statsministeren, men kun Odvar Nordli har bodd i boligen. Villa Stenersen er fredet, eies og forvaltes av Statsbygg mens Nasjonalmuseet driver formidlingen. Villaen har vært stengt de siste årene og er nyåpnet etter omfattende rehabiliterings- og oppussingsarbeid, særlig av taket og det berømte overlyset.

Villa Stenersen
Designed by the iconic architect Arne Korsmo, Villa Stenersen was erected in 1937-1939 for the financier and art collector Rolf Stenersen as his residence and as a framework for his large collection of contemporary art. The building is considered a masterpiece of Norwegian Functionalism. The villa was bequested to the country as a residence for the Prime Minister; however only Odvar Nordli has used it as a home. Villa Stenersen is a protected property, owned and administrated by the Norwegian Directorate of Public Construction and Property while the National Museum is responsible for its use. The villa has been closed for several years and has recently been re-opened aler comprehensive rehabilitation, especially of the roof and the famous skylight.
